Arlene co-founded SML Architects in 2015, a practice that embraces a people-centric work environment and thrives to create meaningful architecture. Before SML, Arlene was a director at Design Network Architects, where she was part of the team that designed the award-winning Ching Kwong Methodist Church in Kuching. At SML, her project ‘Keranji House’ was recently shortlisted for the PAM Awards 2022 under the Single Residential category.

Outside architecture, Arlene is passionate about animals, travelling (especially to sub-zero destinations), fireworks, and good food.
