Horng Rong, also known as Freddie, has vast experience in various types of projects, ranging from single residential to high rise while also engaging in governmental projects designing schools. Prior to becoming the director of MWAA, Freddie worked in architecture firms in both East and West Malaysia, with a combined experience of ten years. He continues to run his own practice after forming MWAA with Min and Peng Hui. As a committee member of PAM Sarawak Chapter since 2020, Freddie is in charge of organising Part III professional examination workshops. From 2011 to 2014, he was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. Outside of work, Freddie runs as a hobby.
