Min co-founded MWAA with Peng Hui and Freddie in 2022, having previously worked as a sole practitioner since 2015. Prior to this, he was one of the founding directors of Design Network Architects (DNA) for 15 years before setting up his own practice. Min’s works have been recognised by Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM), and together with Arlene and Leong, he has won numerous PAM Awards.
An educator at heart, Min has taught at LimKokWing University and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). He has also served as a guest critic for design reviews in universities both locally and abroad. His public lectures include DATUM:M KLAF 2023, DATUM Kuala Lumpur 2010, and the 'Asianation' talk in Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2006. Additionally, he has conducted design workshops with the PAM Sarawak Chapter (PAMSC).
Min is the editor of The Borneo Architecture Journal, which aims to showcase and record architectural projects from this corner of the world. Prior to this, he was the editor of PAMSC's INTERSECTION and NEWS+FLASH for more than a decade. In addition, Min is an urban sketcher and is interested in writing, carpentry, painting, cooking, running, tennis, and squash, but he is not good in any of them.
