This is a 4-storey building; 2 shop lots served by a central staircase and services core. The site is very small, limited to the footprint of the building. Our concept aims to extend the building by several storeys and proposes to do so by replacing the central staircase core with a new structural core. The new hotel floors would then be supported/suspended from the new steel structure.
