Kepayang House

The client engaged us to renovate a 40-year-old semi-detached house in a mature neighbourhood with the hope of decluttering the house and increasing floor area.

1. We embarked on achieving the following as a response to the brief:
   Maximise building footprint based on the relaxed planning requirements
2. Create an open plan especially on L1
3. Create visual connections between levels by demolishing part of the L2 slab
4. Create a new building skin on L2 for solar control and privacy

The result is a spacious, bright and well-ventilated dwelling with a fresher look to boot.
