This is Min’s family home – he moved in when he was in Primary 2 (1972). It was a brand-new house bought for RM9000. 50 years later, Min inherited it from his mother and siblings after his father passed away.

Min did not need a new house, so this became an experiment and a design project combined into one – to explore ideas of permeability, natural lighting, conservation, adaptive reuse, and notions of sharing living spaces with family, community, and books.
